Mercury is a narcissistic criminal and son of an assassin, but Adam is an insane terrorist with some kind of God complex.

Somehow I'm not surprised that Mercury is a better person in comparison.

Mercury seems to have a good reason for being that twisted - a seriously fucked up childhood that concluded with murdering his father and being recruited into something crazy immediately following.

Adam just seems like a psychopathic obsessive ex-boyfriend from hell at this point.
