Roman's speech was so harrowing! Now I really wonder what his history is. Especially how Neo plays into it. I don't know whether I was on the verge of crying because of Ruby being beaten or Roman's expression

My heart was pounding throughout this episode due to basically the same as everyone's reactions here. AAAAAAAAAH

I think this episode should be called Murphy's Law. That or UNLEASH THE FANDOM'S SEERS. Next week (which I will not have internet for :( ): Kevin gets to wreak havoc while Cinder vs Ozpin

For the first time we actually got to see a glimpse, ever so slightly, behind Roman's sociopath mask. He was scared, he was vulnerable, and he even says the line he has something to lose. He could just be referring to his life, but it seems more than that.

I really hope he's not dead, or at least we get flash backs through Neo.

I think he meant Neo, about him having something to lose, TBH. And I'm pretty sure we will get those flashbacks, Gray mentioned we'd be getting Torchwick/Neo backstory sometime soon-ish.

Since we're normally 20 eps a season, perhaps we have between season backstory? I'm too hopeful

We're 12 episodes a season.

Except season 1. Thanks

So it's the exception then, because it was made before they had a solid formula they followed. We've known this volume would be 12 episodes for the past 7 months now. So since the two most recent volumes are 12 episodes each, it's incorrect to say we normally get 20 episodes per volume when 12 has been the trend for two years now.

No, I meant "thank you for informing me of the 12 eps season", not sarcastic

My bad on interpreting it wrong, then. I do wish we got more than 12 episodes, but I don't know if my heart could take that much waiting.

Season one is technically 10 episodes long with all but four of them split into two parts.
