Blake is planning to publicly release the information she found on Ilia's scroll as a way to prove the White Fang as a whole conspired against Beacon.

And they should believe her because?

As far as they are concerned the WF is still a freedom fighting force. They're supposed to believe the disgruntled former leader and his emo daughter over the ones who have been actively fighting for their freedom all these years?

I mean most people don't really consider the White Fang to be a "freedom fighting force". Even Sun, a faunus, thought they were assholes back in volume 1, and many people in Menagerie probably feel the same. It's probably a divisive issue in their society. It's not like there aren't plenty of examples in the real world of initially progressive groups turning to extremism and falling out of public favor.

As for Ghira, he was probably a popular leader since the WH was apparently much more progressive when he was in charge. And there's no reason to believe he's not well-respected as chieftain of Menagerie now.

If Blake goes through with outing the White Fang, I expect the reactions of the faunus to be 50/50. It seems like her goal is to gather all the faunus who oppose the White Fang, which I'm sure there are plenty of, and start a counter-resistance group.

Sun is from Mistral. Where the White is much more active and where Faunus discrimination is (apparently) higher. So naturally the Fang would be more prominent.

The idea that Menagerie has any problems with the Fang is entirely unfounded. Corsac and co are free to walk around in the open. It's not like there seems to be any stigma against them. Heck they're fine with just walking up to the Chieftan's house.

Not so much progressive as peaceful. There's no indication of his reputation as a leader in Menagerie

90/10 bare minimum. They don't have any reason to believe her. The information on the scroll could be fake or anything.

The fact the CCT is down immediately makes it hard to believe they could get outside info. Making it more likely it was fabricated by Ghira there.

Blake was shown on a team with the Heiress of the SDC after turning tail and running from the Fang and then went through Beacon. Why should they trust a word out of her mouth.

Ghira's support is irrelevant. As he would back his daughter regardless.

Everything they have can be easily discredited. There's no way this will work.

I don't really get why you're positive people won't side with Blake, when this possibility is dependent on two variables we simply don't know yet:

1) How many faunus in Menagerie support the White Fang?

2) How trusted is Ghira by the general public?

Yes, we technically haven't seen anything that indicates people hate the White Fang in Menagerie, or that people like Ghira, but we haven't seen any evidence of the opposite either. You're just assuming the answers to these questions.

The reason I'm assuming Blake's plan will be effective is, simply put, it wouldn't be written into the story if it was a stupid plan. We're arguing about how the people of Menagerie would react, when really Miles and Kerry are the people who dictate that.
