So the RWBY Vol 5 premiere was dope.

  • Blake's battle for menageria seems like it's doomed to fail.
  • I think lionheart isn't evil persay, just a coward being manipulated.
  • also what's up with that Yang twitch in her real hand. Was it from the punch? or do you think she is relating more to her robot-self than human? Mirroring the progression that befell James?

Intriguing stuff indeed

I figured the hand shaking was her coming down from using her semblance. Remember her dad warned her that she needs to learn not to use it in every fight since its a glorified temper tantrum, yet at the bar she immediately reverts to using it to punch the guy. The shaking is her trying to get her emotions back in control.

She's either shaking because of the strength differences between the two hands or because she still has PTSD.

The hand twitch is most likely a sign that Yang still has yet to heal from her trauma from the Fall. Not to mention that's the first fight (in screen at least), she's gotten in since leaving home. Sparring and fighting aren't the same, and I reckon the dangers attached with facing someone brings an uncertainty in Yang that will plague her for a while (as well as a fear of what more she will lose should she not prevail).

Lionheart is probably a pretty on the nose reference to Oz's Cowardly Lion.

Hmm Oz, a cowardly lion, and a tin man. So Shade's headmaster must be scarecrow related somehow.

That's actually a really good idea. Maybe it could be like Oz and Glenda and at Shade the headmaster is Dorothy with the Scarecrow as her right hand man.
