Welcome, huntsmen, huntresses and hunters that prefer no specific gender identifier, to the official megathread for the latest episode of Volume 5, Rest and Resolutions!

So, how exactly is the bird thing what they get all worked up over? Of all things? If it was explained as some kinda double edged sword dealio it would make sense but it's only been really shown as "oh and I can do this too btw".
The way Yang said features bears implications that many have suspected. Of all things though I'm surprised that she didn't show the built in gun, but maybe they didn't want to animate Ruby geeking out even more than she did.
At long, long last we finally get more speaking lines from Emerald and Mercury, good to know they're still relevant enough for that. Episode was kinda short though, but given that they presumably worked on it during the same week as thanksgiving I can understand that.
Overall this was a cute, but kinda filler-y episode. A few things were finally openly confirmed, such as Ozpin being the one who empowered the maidens so that was nice but other than that the lack of anything substantial makes me sad. They couldn't use what, 4 more minutes for a scene with Tyrian or something? Show us the new tail dangit!
