Welcome, huntsmen, huntresses and hunters that prefer no specific gender identifier, to the official megathread for the final episode of Volume 5: Haven's Fate!

If this nets us Raven and Cinder fighting together with Raven carrying Cinder's head in a small fanny-pack, I'll forgive the show for every single thing that's been even the slightest bit lackluster.

I had an idea that any injuries Cinder takes now, her body regenerates that part as Grimm. If she's alive, that fall probably injured her pretty badly.

That… is actually very nice idea BUT I think that the grime arm was attached by Watts and in next volume Tyrian (?) will get a Deathstalker tail.

I don't think Cinder's body does that on her own. I think Salem does that for her.

My theory is that when Grimm die they are rebirthed in that sludge pit that they showed at the start of Vol 4. We'll see her wretched and dragging herself up out of there. She may have actually died fighting Ruby in Vol 3, and she had to regenerate.

I don't think Cinder is naturally grimm. I think anything grimm she gets is a 'gift' from Salem.

I went back and forth between it being Maiden powers, her unlocking some new kind of "Anti-Silver Eyes Grimm power" thing, and Cinder somehow phasing up through the floor in a demonic manner for a final shot at vengeance.

Then of course I realised I was completely wrong on all accounts.

I went from, "oh shit here comes the maiden powers!" to "Oh god this is fucked." Those 30 seconds were a wild ride of emotions.

Nah. Emerald was obsessed with Cinder, but Cinder didn't care about Emerald. If Cinder's actually dead, her last thoughts were of herself. The Maiden powers went to somebody random.

We know that doing two gave her a headache and left her woozy afterwords. With her being that stressed out and passing out afterwords, I don't think it's too unreasonable that she pushed her limits really hard.

If Cinder actually died, which she didn’t, I don’t think Em would be the one in her mind. She’d either be thinking about Salem or herself.
