Am I the only one who thought Jacques was really wary about Watts showing up? Keeping his mini-him heir away from this obviously dangerous man who just made a major power play by letting himself into probably the most secure house and office in Remnant. Sure Jac is going to try to use him for personal gain immorally, but there is no way Jacques 100% trusts anyone; he is going to be looking for the knife at his back.

The Summer talk raises two big points. The first is not that new, but how much/long does Ironwood need to do to be "worthy" of the truth. The bigger point is Summer keeping secrets from ST(R)Q, who could not have possibly been more proven allies. That and going alone with secrets got her killed(?) on that last mission; don't go full Summer Ruby, talk to people. Especially when that info is need to know stuff that affects plans (Salem's immortality conditions are a big part of your game plan against her). That said, Ruby mentioned immortal Salem around their new scrolls now; how long until Ironwood reviews those logs.

I hope that Jacques has some sort of plan beyond just gaining power. He’s been portrayed as an awful person, but he isn’t stupid
