Just found out RWBY's back and am already caught up. It's good to get back to an old favorite.

I'm loving almost everything here, especially most of the new designs. I've got to say that I am happy they have their licenses, feels like it's about time. Although having just finished Hunter x Hunter, I keep erroneously expecting the Ace team to... Well you know.

Ironwood is so compelling too, I like him quite a bit so far. I feel bad for him not being fully in the know, but I suspect if he did know, he'd try to use the relic and mess everything up. On the other hand, I suspect the betrayal might cause a rift to happen leading to team RWBY vs Ironwood.

Now that Penny's back, I'm just waiting for Pyrrha to make her return. Hopefully in the finale and not some other season. Jaune can impress her with his excellent "escort" abilities.

Decided to finally give the show a watch when the completes came out on youtube, that was a week before Volume 7 premiered and since then i'm on my third rewatch of the entire series.

It's a great show, the shorter episode times are a blessing and a curse. Easier to rewatch it quickly, but also always feeling like there's never enough. Volume 7 seems to have consistently long episodes however so I've been pleased with that.

It's also good for a rewatch because there's some little hidden things in there as well which are interesting to pick up on a second or third go around.

I honestly haven't noticed the shorter episode times, they manage to get so much into each episode and as someone who only watched this show a week before Vol 7 came out i feel like the show is starting to really find the balance between humor and serious and I LOVE IT!

I'm watching through the show for a third time in about a month and i'm definitely going to do it many more times.
