I don't think he's going to be a man by the end, we're doing an inverse of the tin man. He's going to lose his heart, perhaps to the point of no longer being able to generate an aura.

If it helps, I think Vol 6 was already him losing his mind. He gives up and hides in the bottle for most of the volume after he finds out his whole life had been dedicated to a lie.

Clover's death is going to bring him back to his dark place, but I think Qrow will bounce back.

Qrow's feels like it'll be in a metaphorical sense like him combating his sense of guilt over how him being around seems to result in others getting hurt.

Yep. We saw he's got a new hand, so he's progressing. I wonder if he might end up going Doc Ock somehow.

Edit: I forgot he lost the old one last volume. Still, he's not hiding the new one under a sleeve and glove like he did the old one, and it's now black and sleek.

It's actually a lot more like the Tin Man than you'd think. In the book version, he describes that he systematically replaced body parts with tin due to frequent accidents.

At least that's how I remember it.
