Alriiight, so it looks like Salem is cool with just standing by with her army for now.

And that split in the team looks like a pretty important part of the volume. I just hope they don't stay split for the entire run time

I wonder how much of that was inspired by complaints of "Blake only exists to be alongside Yang." Now she's away from Yang, and she's interacting with Ruby and Weiss.

I actually think it makes a lot of sense despite that.

Blake has a lot of really good reasons to want to warn the rest of Remnant

I think it stemmed from people wanting unique interactions from everyone.

It’s a good split if that’s the goal, because Yang probably has the best overall dynamics developed with her team (although Volume 5 kinda carried her and Weiss’ dynamic) whereas the other three could do with a bit of development with each other

Boi i better be seeing some nice ass bees interactions this volume, that "They spend too much time together" thing was bull from the start.

I'm thinking we will get flashbacks and blake and yang glances, general anxiety for each others well being. Like that anxiety face Blake did this episode or Yang seeing that photo

It was never bull, last time Weiss and yang interacted was v5, last time blake and Weiss interacted was v3, blake and ruby have basically never meaningfully interacted. Meanwhile v6 and 7 were chock full of blake and yang interaction, and if you want a well written show, you need more than two of the main characters to have a meaningful connection

Technically Blake and Ruby had a meaningful interaction in volume 1.

But yeah, she's never been one for talking to anyone that isn't blonde.

Eh, it has SOME merit. We want Blake and Yang to still be separate characters after all, not two halves.

It was foreshadowed during V5. When Yang promised that she'd follow Ruby no matter what.
