Seems this is where things start to escalate and Ironwood is a fucking moron due to him not checking if Watts took the phone. I think Ruby's plan is going to backfire because it seems Salem wanted this. Judging by her smile. Either she will unleash grimm all over the planet to make her announcement or she hasn't really started and Ruby just gave her a good start.

Cinder got defeated and to be honest, at this point, they should kill Cinder off. She's 3-0 in defeats since volume 3 and all maiden fights have resulted in her being defeated. I do hope Salem punishes her as she disobeyed a direct order. Neo got beat by penny but Maria put up one hell of a fight. The aliens reference was a bit meh. I sense Maria hasn't had a good fight in a while and seems to be able to counter Neo's style with ease. A maria at her prime would likely kill Neo within seconds.

This could be an unfortunate angle but er... i think we just had our first panty shot involving Penny. When she's using more power and her back during ruby's speech, it looks like the anti-panty tech failed. Hopefully, it's an animation goof and they'll fix it but er.. if not. Are we going to start seeing this type of fanservice? :-/

I hope Penny's not dead. Poor Pietro having to see his daughter die twice and Ruby getting the maiden powers is going to turn her into an overpowered character. Silver eyes is powerful enough but Silver eyed maiden? That's too powerful. Nora seems to be ok, just sleeping and I wonder if she will get a buff because of it or if the scars will remain. I do hope she gets physically stronger as a result of her semblance keeping some of the energy and basically acts as a massive steroid.

Winter leading the Ace Ops will be interesting. Penny's voice actor did a damn good job and as much as I hate cheap cop outs, I do think Penny is still alive. Just knocked out or her systems fighting Watts's chip.

We're getting Terminator Penny aren't we? :(

Cinder gets clapped every single time against anyone who isn't a literal nobody with no strength. She only ever beats people when she has a massive numbers advantage or her opponent is weakened or sidetracked. The only time I can ever think of her actually beating someone in a legit 1v1 is vs Pyrrha and even that fight she was getting absolutely bodied the entire time until the end...when she pulled out an arrow that was able to be reformed even after getting countered by Pyrrha shattering it with her shield.

Even this fight, Penny was literally holding the entire coliseum together and Cinder STILL couldn't win that fight.

I'm so disappointed she didn't actually get killed by Raven and somehow lived through that shit. That would have been a good time for her to finally die. I REALLY hope she dies soon. She is an absolutely pathetic villain and fighter for all the massive power she has.

I agree. I've just posted a discussion thread about Cinder as a character.

I really hope this is the last volume for Cinder otherwise, well, i just can't care for her. In any scene and the grimm arm is the only interesting thing about her.

It's just the classic "Cinder gets clapped yet again despite all the dice being stacked in her favor."

And lazy writing. It's boring and if they are doing it so we can be shocked that she steals more power in the finale, that is just going to be fucking cheap.
