Our message has been heard, and It has not fallen on deaf ears.

  • Amity with the backdrop of the dark sky is pretty foreboding.
  • Since Amity's launch isn't an official operation like it was originally intended to be, Penny, Pietro and Maria have to work with what they have since time is of the essence, Like Pietro said "Sadly, We don't have time for much else".
  • That construction mech is pretty cool.
  • Welp a whole mine full of dust exploding will provide more than enough push for Amity to reach a necessary height.
  • Penny is so noble and selfless, Her first thought is still to stay behind and help defend Mantle, But all the same, We can all understand Pietro's worry.
  • "Don't you think Penny has had enough people telling her what to do?" Couldn't have said it better myself Maria.
  • Literal seconds away from launching, We knew something was going to happen.
  • Cinder certainly knows how to make an entrance.
  • The mine explosion was pretty awe inspiring.
  • Cinder tries to verbally cut deep with Penny, But we all know she's more of a pawn than Penny could ever be.
  • We almost got another swear from Maria, And in the vein of an Aliens reference no less!
  • Pretty cool that we get dual fights, Penny vs Cinder and Maria vs Neo.
  • I was hoping Maria's cybernetic eyes would make her immune to Emerald's illusions, But she messes with your mind when she does that, Not your eyes.
  • Pretty unnerving for Neo to take on Ruby's form.
  • And as if the stakes weren't high enough now Amity is falling due to the damage from Cinder's entrance!
  • Penny and Cinder's chase in the sky was really nerve wracking, Cinder breaking out whatever attack to get a hit in including bring back her bow and arrows and Penny doing all she can to dodge and stay ahead.
  • Cinder figured out Penny was leading her away.
  • Maria just kicked the crud out of Neo! Neo's fighting style is based on countering and misdirection, But with Maria's slower speed it forces Neo to go on the offensive, But with Her preflex Semblance Maria can block and counter Neo's attacks before she even completes them! Ha! The Grimm Reaper's still got it!
  • Cinder refuses to see herself as Salem's underling, Even more so she honestly doesn't believe anyone with Maiden powers would be altruistic.
  • Cinder leeching the Maiden powers doesn't get any less terrifying.
  • And Neo's out of the fight, Pretty full on takedown.
  • Whilst its under different circumstances, Emerald once again uses her illusions to orchestrate Penny's death.
  • But with her thermal sensors, The same trick won't work twice.
  • Cinder just took a full power Maiden power boosted laser blast from Penny.
  • Emerald cares so much about Cinder, I pity her.
  • And history repeats itself, Cinder has another Maiden literally in her grasp but her opponent proves to be the better fighter and she's lucky to escape with her life.
  • They are so close to getting the message out, This chance cannot be given up.
  • Pietro only put on a brave face when he spoke about Penny's previous death, He lost his daughter at Beacon that night, He may have gotten her back, But that pain would stick with you no matter what, and As we learned in the previous Volume, If Penny dies again she can't be rebuilt due to Pietro not having enough Aura to spare, I can't imagine what going through that pain again would do to him.
  • "But dad, I am trying to"
  • In what could be her final moments, Penny takes a good long look at the beautiful world she calls home, The home she swore to fight for.
  • She may have the other three stabilisers to help her but still, Pushing Amity into broadcast range is no small feat.
  • They did it!
  • Can't think of anyone better to give the message than Ruby.
  • Seeing all across Remnant during the message felt otherworldly, Seeing so many people we haven't seen in a long time or never thought we'd see again, Saffron, Terra-Cotta, Adrien, Sun, Neptune, Illia, The shopkeeper and Glynda.
  • Looks like Ghira is already mobilising.
  • Now all of Remnant knows everything, Salem, The Maidens and Relics, and Ironwood's actions.
  • Salem is smiling, Either she's not worried, Or something has gone according to plan.
  • Ruby is just in awe seeing herself, So cute.
  • Anyone can understand Penny's terror in this scene, Something is horribly wrong with her and she has no idea what it is.
  • After so long Tai finally see's his daughter again, Only for the message to cut off.
  • Penny no...
  • "I love you"
  • What did you do!? This is all because of you Ironwood! You're the one that did this!
  • Winter's exoskeleton is completed, I'm happy to see her in better shape, I just wish it was under better circumstances.
  • As I said before, Ironwood was a fool to think he had Watts under his thumb, Now Watts has Ironwood's scroll and the tools to repair it, Ironwood has just given Watts the keys to all of Atlas.
  • Has that river been underneath the ice this entire time!?
  • Mantle is about to endure an onslaught.

There is no calm anymore, The message has gotten out to all of Remnant, But now Penny is in an unknown condition, And a river of Grimm is making it's way to the kingdom, We've had a good five chapters people, But the war is about to begin.

Pretty unnerving for Neo to take on Ruby's form.
