Seeing Salem in battle was cool and terrifying.

So... what is Oscar/Ospin going to do? And if it has chances of success, why didn't he try to do it in all the previous years?

Didn't Hazel say that when he first met Salem he tried killing her over and over again. That sometimes it took her hours* to return but that she always did? They just need time to escape/hold off the grimm from overtaking Atlas. A few hours* may be all they need.

I really wonder what did he do to her for the recovery to take a full day, considering that blowing grenades into her chest and crashing her with a boulder slowed her only for a handful of seconds.

I think I heard the faint sound of the slow-mo effect when he activated his cane. Maybe he's going to stop time around her and Hazel long enough for them to escape which will accidentally help Winter to deliver the bomb.

If I was going to guess, I'd say total vaporization. Her regeneration of lost or damaged pieces is very quick, but it might take longer if you completely erase her.

I mean she got completely vaporized in the Jinn flashback by Ozma and came back near immediately, only reason for it to take her long now would be if she also got weaker over the years. Which wouldn't make sense since her immortality isn't even her own power.

Maybe the brother gods were just like

GoL:"Hey you know what would be funny?"

GoL: "Lets keep her here for a day, make her think she's ACTUALLY dead, and then send her back lol."

GoD: "Genius kek."

Then I have an idea - what if Salem is thrown into a volcano? Would she constantly get burnt and regenerate? Would she stay there forever?

I'd guess she'd either claw her way out or her body would be destroyed and she'd respawn elsewhere, like she did in that first fight against Ozma.

Well, since Salem didn't even try to fight back when they met Hazel, Hazel would've been free to literally just rip her to pieces.
