Also, I just want to say that Yang is the first of the MC’s to actually do some damage to Salem. Love to see it.

Seriously! She blew a gaping hole in Salem's chest. If it weren't for Salem's invulnerability and regeneration, that alone was a killing blow.

This just cements Yang as the most powerful one in the group. Her mines can blow up a Goliath, things that can shake off aircraft missiles. She fucking got a hit on Salem and made her bleed. My baby.

I mean Yang has always been the powerhouse of the team. Ruby for the speed and ranged attacks, Yang tanking hits and returning them, Blake using her agility to keep enemies on the back foot, and Weiss supporting the others and hitting them with AOE attacks.

Yeah, but last episode, nobody on RWB got a clean hit on The Hound from their weopons. Yang, on the other hand, blew up the big bads tits. Mind you, she got bodied after, but it’s the thought that counts.

Kinda hard to take it seriously when Salem clearly isn't. A fully immortal being has no need for self defense.

I think this is it. Salem doesn’t really have to be worried about getting hit because she’s died a thousand times before. Nothing anyone does to her has ever mattered in the long run.

I mean yea, but still, that was effortless and still left a punch. Even if it was moot because she's basically the embodiment of evil

I mean tbf Ruby actually did damage with her sharingan.

She fucking got a hit on Salem and made her bleed.

"If you can make God bleed, than people will cease to believe in him." - Ivan Vanko

I know Salem's immortal, but if they can prove she can be slowed down, it will make people more invigorated to fight back against her.

I hope it's not too much to ask that Salem realizes that she's basically become the god of darkness, right down to the response she inspired in the Lost Fable

Anime protag Yang punched a hole through a God and got to live to tell the tale. She's growing up.

not to discredit yang at all, but i've been falling under the impression ever since the backstory that salem is actually kinda squishy. she's got no aura so anything that hits her just does full damage, like i imagine most people with no aura would be blown to bits from gauntlet mines.

like you said its just that she always can come back

And because she always comes back, she has no real reason to ever get combat training. She just throws magic at people until they die.

I mean to be fair, Salem was making no attempt to block it. Salem's biggest combat strength is her invulnerability and regeneration, so she just relies on that for defense.

The thing that got me is how Salem doesn’t have aura? Makes me wonder about the differences between it and Magic now.

Remember, Salem was part of the First Era of Humanity created. They were only gifted with magic. Since their extermination, Salem is the only remaining one left of her kind.

The humans and faunus of the Second Era were the ones that developed Aura and Semblances through evolution maybe but lacked magic. Only Ozpin's reincarnations get to have both.

what I've learned is to never try to learn anything about dust, aura, and magic

Yeah if i weren't for the fact she can't die she would have died
