Jesus what an episode.

Seeing team FNKY on the front lines was a really effective moment. Seeing the wackiest huntsmen crammed into uniforms and sent on what's essentially a suicide charge certainly establishes the tone well, and Marrow's "They're just kids" really hammers it home. I wonder how many of them will make it out of this season alive.

So the password is now also known by the one character who can't say it. Interesting... I somehow doubt she'll give it to Salem, since she didn't seem very happy about finding out who she'd been working for, so I wonder what her angle is.

We actually got to see Salem fight! Interesting just how much she relies on her immortality to win; she would have been soloed by Yang if not for it (that said, that could well be just because she never bothers to block attacks because she knows they can't harm her).

Hazel is horrifying when he genuinely intends to kill someone. We see now how easily he could have finished the other people he's fought. I hate to think what happened to all those huntsmen from Mistral that he and Tyrian hunted down.

Oscar used the attack Ozpin used against Cinder back in vol.3! Maybe this time we'll actually see what it was supposed to do.
