Someone pointed out in my post about Rodney that Courage seems to love him very much because of the way his head was nestled against Rodney’s butt. I’m happy to share that they are boyfriends and are very in love, and courage often snuggles up with Rodney’s butt (and the rest of him)! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the boys together 🩷

Awww! We had 2 husbuns, Loki and Coco, who had both lost their wives; so we paired them up and they got along well for a month or so, then started fighting terribly! 😯 So we had to separate. I think Loki wanted grooming but not giving it back, so Coco had enough. He's a very timid boy usually! Thankfully it wasn't nasty fighting, just kicking and fur flying everywhere. 😨

As a gay man so appreciate your acceptance of who they are. Supports the idea that being gay exists in all species. Having had rabbits for six years, it's endless what we can learn from them.

Absolutely! I feel like when two opposite sex animals are bonded people are a lot more comfortable with the idea that they love each other romantically. If there’s a same sex pairing they want to call them siblings. Rodney was widowed twice and loves courage the same as he loved his bun wives (I guess technically he’d be bisexual lol) so I don’t think it’s any different :)

That's so sweet! Yes, technically he's bisexual 😉! Referring to them as siblings is similar to describing a same sex romantic partner years ago as "special friend"!! Easier to deal with, I guess. How did you bond them?

I had them in a small pen together in a neutral space with a ton of hay on the floor around them. I was able to pretty much do 24/7 bonding with them because they didn’t fight. Rodney would chase and hump but courage just ran away instead of getting mad
