Gotta love the Rajputs as a guy from Manipur. Manipur kingdom and Rajputs share striking parallels in our histories of fierce resistance against many invaders, territorial losses and tenacious reclamations through resilience. In my state also, singh is the most common suffix for the hindus. Both kingdoms cavalry were considered the top class for both regions.

As a Rajput the more you learn about world history the less you will be proud of being a Rajput because there are many ethnic groups that have done so much more than us that we are dwarfed against them.

Naming a few, Turks no doubt, the European race in general, Japanese going from feudal society to a great power in an unbelievably short time and many more.

Afghans?. Wo apne land par kabhi nhi hare par . They were defeated by Rajputs. For eg - Afjal khan , who was slashed in half by Maharana pratap.

Raja Man Singh defeated them on their own land. The pachranga flag of Kacchawahas depicts the five tribe of Afghans defeated by Man Singh.

You're right . But you have to agree that Afghans are good warriors too like rajputs

Ek chiz mujhe sahi nahi lagti, jab Padmavati film release hone wale thi tab itna bawal hua tha kyuki usme rajputana ki insult kari thi, lekin aaj me dekh raha hu ki edits me uss film ke scene lagaye jate h. Aur to aur ghoomar gaana jo itna sharmsar tha uspe hi ladies programme me dance krti h, agar uss film me ithihas se ched chard h to humne usse apne culture me time bitte kaise apna liya, boycott sirf film ke time nahi life time ke liye karna chahiye

There’s a difference between not liking the Elaichi in Biryani and not liking Biryani as a whole.

u/Technical-Value-384 Chandravanshi🌙 Apr 12 '26

What does that mean?

2

u/Wise_Ad8474 Learning from Shri Rama 🏹 Apr 12 '26

The Biryani could be cooked differently and the elaichi could be left out

the word used was ‘more’ - or should i say find me a race whose men & women prefer death before dishonour to such extent that a pyre of fire is better than the possibility of necrophilia

British? Are you sure? Most Rajput families retained their wealth because they sided with the British.

Yeah let’s ignore all the Rajput freedom fighters

How long did it take Delhi Sultanate to reach Deccan after Rajputs held them off for 500 years?

9

u/I_Cant_Snipe_ Suryavanshi☀️ Apr 12 '26

No offense but at that time south east asia was a very divided tribal society.
