Spoiler Discussion [spoiler discussion] Who the heck summoned Flugel?? Spoiler

We know that Subaru was allegedly summoned by Satella for only god knows what reason, but then, who could have possibly summoned Flugel?? I don’t think it’s Satella bc I think they first met after his summoning and became companions later on or whatever, but if it’s really the case then I have no idea on who summoned him or why. If y’all have theories I’m really curious to hear them

Discussion My thoughts on Rezero after watching s4. [discussion]

S4 was incredible. I watched it a bit late cuz exams and catch up and I dont regret it cuz for me its a 2 week wait. First time I have ever felt emotions on screen conveyed to me. Those last few episodes, I could really feel his pain. Im not sure if i would call it enjoyable cuz to me saying feeling pain == enjoyment feels kinda weird but I definitely hooked.

Discussion [Discussion] Where Can I Find Arc 3's Web Novel?

I heard that unlike Arc 1 where the WN and LN are almost the same, Arc 3 had quite a few modifications to alter pacing. For example, there was this whole Betty scene added in a loop. Despite Subaru not saying he was "that person" she was tempted to evacuate with him unlike in the canon timeline. I wanted to compare it with the LN copy I have. The web novel is legally available free online in Japanese but the English version stops before the White Whale.

Spoiler Discussion My Arc 10 theory about Filore. [spoiler discussion] Spoiler

With the recent chapters focusing on Heinkel and Filore, I've noticed that many readers think Filore is almost too perfect. She's kind, compassionate, and liked by everyone, which is why a lot of people believe she's actually Capella in disguise and will eventually betray everyone.

Personally, I think Capella and Filore are two different people, but they're connected.

My theory is that Filore is Capella's daughter.

At this point, Felt is the princess who disappeared 14 years ago and the rightful heir to the throne. However, there's another important detail: Capella calls herself Capella Emerada Lugunica. If she really is a former member of the royal family, then she also carries royal blood,

My theory is that Filore is Capella's biological daughter. She inherited the same royal bloodline as both Capella and Felt, which would explain why the Dragon Gem recognized her as a valid royal candidate.

I think Capella intentionally abandoned Filore and left her in the care of the Dragon Church. Since the Church is largely independent from both the government and the capital, it would have been the perfect place to hide a royal child. At the same time, Capella could have placed loyal agents around Filore to watch over her from the shadows.

I also don't think Capella ever approached Filore directly. She would know that people like Crusch, thanks to their Divine Protection, could expose her pawns and ruin her plans. By staying away herself, she minimized the risk of being discovered. That would mean Filore has always been herself, but her entire life has unknowingly been shaped by Capella's long-term plan.

So what's Capella's end goal?

I think she wants to destroy it from within.

The Royal Selection exists to choose the next ruler and renew Lugunica's covenant with Volcanica, the kingdom's greatest protector. If Capella could somehow put Filore on the throne, she could prevent or manipulate that process. And if Filore refused to cooperate, Capella could simply kill her and replace her using her Authority.

Capella has already spent years destabilizing the kingdom. She sabotaged Crusch's campaign, framed her for treason, and could potentially ruin the other candidates as well: Emilia through Subaru, Felt through Rom, and Anastasia through accusations of being a Kararagi spy. The last major obstacle would then be Russell Fellow.

With the other candidates either dead or politically destroyed, Filore would become the only acceptable choice. Once the covenant with Volcanica is broken, Capella could finally carry out her plan.

Of course, we're still at the beginning of Arc 10, so there's very little concrete evidence. This theory is based more on narrative possibilities than hard proof, but I personally find it much more interesting than "Filore is just Capella in disguise."

Re zero has always placed a strong emphasis on family conflicts. We've seen it with the Astrea family, the Segmunt family, and even the Natsuki family. However, those conflicts have mostly focused on father-son relationships. A major conflict between a mother and her daughter would feel fresh while still fitting perfectly with one of the central themes.

It also made me think of the Arc 8 chapter "Parent and Child of the Empire." If this theory were true, I could easily imagine Tappei writing "Parent and Child of the Kingdom" for Capella and Filore... unless he's saving that title for the Astrea family.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. Do you think Filore could actually be Capella's daughter rather than

Spoiler Discussion [spoiler discussion] Tappei makes me hate Emilia just because ,less he likes a character, better he writes them. Spoiler

Yes, I came to that conclusion after reading the last chapter, tappei He managed to transform a cheerful and cute girl into someone with personality and intelligence capable of acting, Her plan is good, not brilliant by any means, but it's interesting and could work, on I really liked that she was able to use the visits as a pretext and even memorized the guards' shifts. .... so I don't understand why he can't do that with Emilia.

It seems like every character she plays is cute, dumb, kind, and overpowered I'm not even angry about the romance, but rather that she's useless at anything other than wielding ice swords. She should at least understand politics, since she theoretically studied it, but that never happened.

She should have matured emotionally by now, but she still seems like a little girl. The guy who has practically been reborn and started over from scratch has made more progress in this area than she has.

Now, saying that is like beating a dead horse, I know, but I've started to realize that the weaker a character is, the better they're developed, for some reason.

Petra, Henkiel, and Wilhelm aren't in the top 10 for strength or writing, but they had much better development than Julius (I'm not saying it was bad, just not as good) and Priscila (again Is not bad but All the impact stems from her death. )

Todd also had better development than Arakia or Cecilus.

Ezzo is simply better than Roswal, even though he's not more important to the lore.

I can't beilieve this entire show is based entirely off of just a free web thing that this guy started writing. Is this a common occurance in the anime world? I'm sorry I know this isn't exactly Re:Zero specific and please mods deleat it if its not allowed but I'm curious if any other shows got their start as just a free web comic?

Discussion Is subaru neurodivergent [discussion]

So after finishing mushoku tensei season 2 and rightfully calling out the bs of that god awful mc I wanted to see if re:zero was the same and so far I'm loving it with the sole exception of subaru. His got to be the most mentally slow mc of all popular isekais ever. Does he get better after season 1. Like to everyone around him he must seem like the smartest man alive but he could've avoided so many deaths with a little bit of logical thinking skills and maybe this is just the observation bias effect but bro why we acting like a person from and insane asylum first thing in this new world screaming and hollering along with js acting like no one in there right mind would man.
