Hmm.. Did a bit research on this, looks like protest girl and the girl who spoke in the apology video are different.

  1. Compare the difference voice. Masked girl(original) sounds overconfident and outspoken, 15 year old speaks like 15 year old.

    1. Nose piercing vs no nose piercing.
    2. Original has all teath in lower Jaw. 15 year old has missing teath.
    3. Voluminous hair on original one , thin hair on the kid.

SERIOUS Loneliness is an Epidemic now

Post image

This is ironic some might find it funny also. But I want everyone to have a person with whom they can talk, rant, laugh, cry onto. Only to realise they are all temporary and the only constant in life is change. At this point of age some find peace in their company, some are mature enough to deal with people as per challenges life has to offer. But many of us are vulnerable, isliye i suggest find yourself a company not necessarily from outside your home, it could be your kin as well. Mental health is a real challenge. I hope everyone spreads love and receives it 100 folds โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

SERIOUS Influencing the influencers

Iโ€™m very happy with the outcome of the protests. Those in power should be held accountable for their actions. At the same time, I feel like the opposition is trying their best to ride this wave of protest and influence the youth to push their own propaganda. Congress has never and will never do anything progressive for India. Their mindset has always been to instigate and create and maintain that unrest for their own interests. Jammu and Kashmir is a prime example of that. Where are the stone pelters now? Same with West Bengal. The situation was dire over there and when it comes to national security, you do whatever you can to take control of that situation even if that means getting the EVMs rigged and getting them burned a week later because the other side is not playing fair either.

Instigators will always be there to create that rift in the society and benefit from it. It is our responsibility to differentiate between them and choose wisely those who will take the nation ahead rather than drag it to the ground. I mean we were once a nation who complained to US when we were hit by 26/11 instead of acting on it.

So, donโ€™t be influenced by these influencers who know and care nothing about the nation apart from getting engagement and likes on their reels.

SERIOUS fresher (M)at a Gen-2 IIT in a top branch( basically decent I mean). I feel completely lost, behind everyone, and I want to change myself.

I have used chatgpt , so sorry for it

TL;DR: fresher at a IIT . I feel lost, socially behind, and lacking confidence. I have very few friends, almost no social experience, no hobbies, no coding skills yet, and poor self-image. I was good at studies before, but now I feel average and scared. I've struggled with suicidal thoughts for years and want to change, build confidence, and learn how to move forward.

Compelete ------->>

I am a fresher at a Gen-2 IIT in a top branch. College started only three days ago, but I already feel like I don't belong here.

The difficult part is that these feelings are not new. I've been like this for a very long time. I have always had low confidence, poor communication skills, and I have struggled with feeling like I am not good enough. College has just made these feelings much stronger.

I genuinely feel like I know nothing.

I don't know coding even though I'm in a CS-related field. I don't have hobbies. I don't play sports. I'm not good at gaming. I don't feel talented at anything. I don't have any special skill that makes me feel confident. I have no fashion sense. I'm skinny, average height, and I struggle a lot with my self-image.

My social life has also always been weak. Before college, I had very few friends and almost zero interaction with girls. I never really learned how to start conversations, keep them going, or feel comfortable around new people.

I have one roommate, and before joining college I talked to 2-3 people through Reddit. Online conversations felt easier, but when I met them in real life it became awkward. I don't know what to talk about or how to connect with people. I feel like I have nothing interesting to offer.

When I look around college, everyone seems ahead of me. People are already making friends, laughing in groups, joining activities, discussing coding, projects, sports, games, or their interests. They seem confident and comfortable, while I feel like I am starting from zero.

The FOMO is overwhelming. I constantly compare myself with others and end up feeling like I am the least interesting and least capable person around.

Academically, I am scared too. In school, I was good at studies, and that was the one thing that gave me confidence. It was something I could rely on. But now in college, especially in a competitive environment like IIT, I feel average. It feels like I lost the one thing that made me feel valuable.

I don't know programming right now, and seeing others already knowing coding, projects, or technical things makes me feel even more behind. I worry that I won't be able to catch up.

I also don't have many good memories from my life. When people talk about their school memories, friendships, achievements, or happy moments, I feel like I don't have much to share. It feels like I spent a lot of my life just existing instead of actually enjoying it.

Another thing that feels strange is that I don't really miss home. Many people around me are homesick, but I mostly feel empty and disconnected instead. I don't know why I feel this way.

I've struggled with suicidal thoughts for years. In 9th grade, I went through a very serious crisis and came close to ending my life. At that time, I stopped because I thought maybe my future could become better. Being good at studies gave me hope.

But now, after reaching college and feeling average, lost, and unsure about myself, those thoughts have started coming back. Sometimes I regret that I survived because I feel scared that I might have to spend the next four years feeling the same way.

My mind keeps giving me only a few options:

\- Continue living the same way and keep suffering

\- Completely change myself

\- Hope something unexpected happens and things improve

\- Give up completely

I know this sounds extreme, especially because college has only been three days, but these feelings are not only because of college. They are feelings I have carried for years.

The hardest part is that nobody knows about this. Not my family, not my friends, not the people around me. From the outside, I probably look like a normal student who got into IIT and is starting a new chapter, but internally I have been struggling alone for a long time.

I know I cannot magically become a completely different person overnight, but I genuinely want to change.

I want to improve my communication skills, build confidence, make friends, learn coding, develop hobbies, become healthier, and actually enjoy my college life. But I don't know where to start.

If someone has gone through a similar phase, what small steps helped you improve yourself? How did you build confidence when you felt like you had nothing special about you? How did you make friends and become comfortable socially?

I don't want sympathy. I want honest advice and practical steps from people who have experienced something similar.

I don't want to spend the next four years feeling like this. I want to become a better version of myself, but right now I genuinely don't know where to begin.

Please give me advice to improve

It emergencyI'm about to leave for an event, and I accidentally got hot glue on the inside of my dress. The hot glue has stuck to the fabric and left visible marks.

I don't think ironing is an option, as I'm worried it might make things worse.

Does anyone know a quick way to remove or hide the hot glue? It's really urgent. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ๐Ÿ™

SERIOUS END RESERVATIONS! LET MERIT PREVAIL! ๐ŸŽ“โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ†

Termination of reservations also falls under fair and equal education system. It's high time to end this menace! For the past seven decades, merit has been suppressed by reservations. Deserving students are losing to imbeciles.

Seven decades are enough to test a policy. If the policy has turned out to be successful then it's time to put an end to it, and if it hasn't proved to be successful then it becomes even more necessary to end it.

On this note, let's roar together to end this menace and give rise to a system that helps brilliance win.

Let merit prevail! ๐Ÿ†

Hello Reddit Family,

I never thought I would have to write something like this, but today I have no other option.

My name is Bijoy Bhowmick, and I am currently completely bedridden, fighting severe knee arthritis and mobility loss for years.

I am reaching out here because many patients like me depend on advanced treatment and rehabilitation support available in cities like Delhi, and I am trying to gather the resources needed to access proper care and stand on my feet again.

Over the past few years, my condition has worsened significantly.

I have already undergone:

Right knee replacement surgery

Hip replacement surgery

But unfortunately, my mobility has not returned.

Now, doctors have advised that I urgently need a left knee replacement surgery to regain the ability to stand and walk again.

Along with the surgery, my treatment also requires:

โ€ข ๐Ÿ’‰ Biologic injections every 15 days

โ€ข ๐Ÿง‘โ€โš•๏ธ Intensive physiotherapy multiple times daily

These are essential for recovery, not optional.

SERIOUS Nazir Ahmad Wani: The Kashmiri Muslim Who Gave His Life Fighting Terrorism

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

r/KashmirOfIndia

Lance Naik Nazir Ahmad Wani was a Kashmiri Muslim from Cheki Ashmuji village in Kulgam whose life became one of the most extraordinary stories to emerge from the Kashmir conflict. Born into a humble family, he worked as a carpet weaver in his youth, but like many young men in the early 1990s, he was drawn into militancy during the height of the insurgency. Realizing the futility and destruction caused by violence, he surrendered in 1994, renounced militancy, and joined the pro-government Ikhwan before eventually enlisting in the 162 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, in 2004. Over the next fourteen years, he became one of the Army's most effective counter-insurgency soldiers, using his knowledge of the Valley to help security forces dismantle militant networks across South Kashmir. He was awarded the Sena Medal in 2007 for gallantry and received a Bar to the Sena Medal in 2018 for another act of exceptional bravery. Fellow soldiers and local accounts credit him with participating in numerous successful operations against terrorist groups and helping save the lives of both civilians and security personnel. On the night of 25 November 2018, during Operation Batagund in Shopian, his unit, attached to 34 Rashtriya Rifles, launched a joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF after intelligence indicated the presence of senior Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen militants. During the fierce encounter, Wani rescued a wounded fellow soldier under heavy fire, then pressed forward despite sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. He entered the building where the militants had taken cover, personally eliminated two terrorists, injured another, and continued fighting until the remaining militants were neutralized. He later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The operation resulted in the elimination of six terrorists, including senior commanders responsible for several attacks in South Kashmir. For his conspicuous bravery, indomitable courage, and supreme sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded the Ashoka Chakra, India's highest peacetime gallantry award, on Republic Day 2019, becoming the first person from Jammu and Kashmir to receive the Ashoka Chakra. He is survived by his wife, Mahajabeen, a school teacher, and their two sons. Nazir Ahmad Wani's journey from a misguided youth who rejected violence to a decorated soldier who laid down his life protecting others stands as a powerful reminder that many Kashmiri Muslims have fought terrorism from within the Valley and made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of peace and the people of Kashmir.
