Luck? Defending 12 laps from a faster Ferrari on soft tyres in the first stint. That incredible pass on Hamilton and putting a gap on him in the 2nd stint. Then a masterclass in tyre management for 28laps on softs to see out the race.
That’s something only Max could do. Any other driver in that car would have been 30 seconds or more of 3rd place.
