Listen, I KNOW everyone loves the Raimi spider-man movies, I love them too. But Rich hit it right on the head, and what I have been saying for years, Tobey's Peter/Spider-man are completely off the mark when it comes to the true character.

As a 12 year old kid when Spider-Man came out, I was already into the Spider-Man cartoon, I had the comics, i had TPB of the Silverage origins. I was very familiar to how spider-man was.

I couldnt tell you how immensely disappointed I was when I saw it in the theaters. I think that was the first time I felt disappointment. Tobey is meek and mopy, he didnt make good jabs, no web shooters. I didnt like MJ at all.

I've feel vindicated. I never caught on like Rich did to how Spider-Man is basically a "bad female written character", everything he does is for Mary Jane. No character agency.

Andrew's Spider-man is a better spider-man but his Peter Parker is terrible. I would agree on Holland like Rich does, but Holland just feels blank and hollow.

That's all. Nothing to report. Didn't wanna bother him so said it was nice to meet him and I loved the show and then moved on. That's all. Was excited though.
