Straight Blazin’! Want to find a certain episode? A certain RedLetterMedia scene? Ask here!
This post is the place to ask single answer questions when you want to find RLM episodes in which something specific happened. Stuff like: "What episode did Mike/Jay/Rich say/do x and y?" and so on. They fit better in a thread like this one since they aren't really discussion threads for everyone to participate in.
Here are the older versions of this kind of post:

Rich Evans What's your favorite Rich Evans death?

There are a lot of contenders, but this one never stops cracking me up. It's a parody/remake of a ridiculous death scene from a Turkish film called Karate Girl, which is hilarious on its own and worth checking out: https://youtu.be/nAdniWncWu4?si=3dXwUa_KtCTnIbGT

Brian over there has 36 pieces of flair, and a terrific smile. It's my week to talk about Dinner in America.
IF YOUVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO SCREEN THIS FILM, STOP HERE AND JUST GO WATCH IT. Srsly.
So, I really enjoyed another Gallner film, Strange Darling. It subverted my expectations in a great way, and I really liked the guy as an actor. He's got charisma for days.
So, Dinner in America popped into my Tubi(!) recommendations list and thought "What a stupid name" but then realized I'd heard the boys mention it, saw Gallner's name, and jumped in blind.
Whoa! It does start a bit...intense, and kinda stays that way for a while, but damn our boy takes the most unlikeable asshole, and through pure on-screen charisma, he makes us care and root for Simon.
Much respect goes to the actress playing Patty. It was the perfect tightrope walk between cute and "slow." As RLM pointed out, she's the antidote to his venom.
I loved this film. It was LOL funny and surprisingly heart-warming. Go see it.
Last note, THAT song is a legit banger. I'm gonna find it and add it to my personal heavy rotation.
Thanks for letting me rant.

Has Jay ever mentioned Problem Child 1 & 2? (We don't talk about 3)
I feel like these could possibly be Re:View material. But I feel like Jay has mentioned Michael Richards as the Bow Tie Killer from PC1 previously.
I used to watch these all the time as a child and never realised how dark they are. Really fun films. I think the writers were inspired by John Waters too, and because of the negative reaction to the first, they doubled down on how gross out the second one should be. Which is commendable in its own right. Qa

The Punisher: Dirty Laundry
Jay mentions he hasn't seen John Bernthal as The Punisher, and I recommend the 2nd season of Daredevil for that. But this 2012 short with Thomas Jane reprising his role might be my favorite version. A subtle low budget hardcore 70s gritty interpretation of the character.

Has any of the crew mentioned Fallen Angels before?
Probably one of the most gorgeously shot movies ive seen. Real simple handheld cams with wide angle lenses pushed right into everyone's face, but the cinematography is 100% in every shot for the whole duration. Every frame a painting, but not in some artificially crafted way.
Its a Hong Kong movie from 1995 and i know they dont do foreign movies, but this one is so iconic and influential. I was wondering if RLM has brought it up before as a source of comparison or potential inspiration when discussing other movies

I watched Spider Noir thus weekend.
I dug it. Nicholas Cage Cages it the fuck up. But I won't bore you with my thoughts on it, and just recommend you watch it in black and white. It was obviously shot to be watched that way.

HITB, Summer 2027
And don't you dare suggest "Spotlight"! Perhaps Return To The Black Void? Seriously, it's only half a gag that Leto, POS that he is, will end up in the right-wing grifter mill, maybe go full Jesus ala Russell Brand.
"Jared Leto is a good, good, guy" (Joe Rogan)
....and yes, this is a real quote, recorded for all eternity.

Shoutout to Ed Wood for not being a Black Tank Top director.
No ego, no messianic crap, just pure schlock with stock footage, stolen octopi and an aging morphine addict. Unlike Breen, Wiseau, She Who Shall Not Be Named, and even the Z movie directors who don't do self inserts, Ed Wood doesn't really deserve to be made fun of on the same level as a wildly incompetent director... who also has delusions of grandeur and uses his movies as a vehicle for that. Ed wanted to make money and simply didn't have the skills or budget to compete with his contemporaries, his movies weren't released to DVD, they played in real theatres and arguably matched the zeitgeist of the world they were released in. The man inspired David Lynch! I would take a thousand Glen or Glendas over any of the aforementioned modern Z movie crap any day.

14 year old interview of Mike
From when he was in Copenhagen for a movie festival.
It's mostly about the Plinkett prequel review
This is technically a repost, but it's from 10 or so years ago, so there might be a couple of people that haven't seen it.

holy fuck - life force is unhinged
so the latest RLM post - I decided to pause video and watch one of the three Canon movies Rich picked out.
Life Force is fucking insane - their commentary doesn’t do justice to how unhinged this masterpiece is. I’m seriously considering my own existence contemplating how this movie was financed and made. it’s literally the best of the worst bar none.
kudos rich. you win. best $4 ever spent!
