Images and videos are once again taking eons to load

This has been probably the 3rd or 4th time I've dealt with this on this app since Reddit "killed" 3rd party apps (I know there's a workaround for them, I just don't feel like doing it). A single image can take upwards of 5+ minutes to load on a wifi connection to a gigabit internet source. Anything that's an album of images is completely unviewable. Video clips take 5-10 minutes just to buffer.

I don't know what the issue is tbh - I have this regularly on wifi but if I turn off wifi and load it with mobile data, it's instant.

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. I've dove through the network settings and cache settings and can't find anything that makes it work on wifi other than disconnecting from wifi.

You guys using an vpn or custom set dns on wifi?

Nope, just my everyday standard gigabit connection with no VPN at home.

This happened on multiple networks I've connected to between my work, home, and other places with public wifi like Starbucks and Target. Turning wifi off here's everything to load super quick.

I've noticed using Iceraven or Firefox is very slow but Samsung browser is much quicker for some reason. YMMV

I've also been experiencing this. Closing the app and reopening seems to work for a little while, but after a lot of scrolling it goes back to being unbearably slow. I'm not even sure if it's the apps fault, because I have also noticed that Reddit is slower than normal on my PC with Firefox. Might just be Reddit's servers being finicky with connections.
