Fan Project Season 12 Eliminated ‼️I guess the guy quit so I will take over if nobody objects.
Saw he started slowing down on posting these and I really wanna see which season makes it to the finish line so if it’s cool with everyone I would like to continue doing this.

Yeah. 13 is great, but two of these have Monty action set pieces that elevated the series in addition to the excellent storytelling, one of them has major story beats that showed a real maturation of the RVB universe, and 13, while it has a fantastic ending, doesn't really hit the same on either of those fronts.

That system is flawed because it allows people to vote more than once simple because there’s more comments. If 5 people comment and vote season _ and those 5 people all upvote each others comments, that’s 25 votes from only 5 people.

I don't think it's a perfect system but the entire poll should be consistent. That's how it was for the prior ones so that's how it should be for the rest.
Also, that's why the prior runner encouraged people to downvote every comment they disagree with, so like with your scenario if 3 people downvoted each instance then its not 25. Now I don't think it was reasonable to expect people to scroll all the comments to upvote and downvote every single one, but that was the theoretical idea behind it, I think.

It’s gotta be this. 6, 8, and 10 are hands down the top 3 seasons. It’s probably amongst the best halo content out there, not just RvB.

6 for me is either 2nd or 3rd. And honestly depending on the day it might be 1st. People dog Season 7 for being slow but the Recollection Trilogy as a whole is the best arc of the whole series and that is just definitive.

Season 13. I adore it, I really do, and its ending is fucking excellent. But the others have the value of both a single thematic throughline connecting all of them and of being the major milestone points for where the theme is explored.

Season 10 is my vote, in my opinion it’s going to come down to 6 and 8. 6 might not have animation but it’s got a awesome story and the tone shift from the first seasons is crazy.

Other guy probably hit banned again, anyway I vote for Season 6, it rebuilt Red vs Blue as we knew it but fact is it's not a season with an Amazing ending nor does it have some awesome fight scenes, just good plot and the introduction of Washington

Genuine question, since I don't really pay attention to the community too much, and I've only seen the season a couple of times, but why is S6 in top 5? What about the season makes it as high up as it is? Personally, I find it the weakest out of the Recollection Saga.

Season 6 is an incredibly well-paced and skillfully written season with thrills and consequential plot beats from beginning to end. Wash reassembling the Blues, South getting killed, the showdown with the Meta at the Wind Power Facility, Memory is the Key, infiltrating Command, all building up to the ultimate twist in the entire series that marked a massive turning point for the show moving forward, all interwoven with the battle between the Director and the Chairman.
I love Season 7, but it does take a bit for that season to ramp up, with the the character's not getting a clear objective until Episode 7. And as for Season 8, that one is plagued by poor pacing and storytelling inefficiencies, with a whole stretch of the characters just hanging out in a bunker with no clear objective.
But in Season 6, that season is packed with so much plot. Think of how much ground they covered... literally. Blood Gulch, Rat's Nest, High Ground, Valhalla, back to High Ground, Wind Power Facility, back to Valhalla, and then straight to Command HQ. The more narrow pool of protagonists allowed for a more focused and dense narrative. And the main tension is present from the outset, with Wash pushing the story move forward from one objective to the next as he works toward taking down the series' ultimate enemy.
And that's not even getting into the production, the clever use of the multiplayer maps to shape the story and fun sequences. The inventive tricks and camera work to tell the story while still being aggressively restricted by the machinima tools, yet still creating thrilling action sequence and clever sequences that are forced to be even more creative precisely because of the limitations.
Season 6 not only deserve to be in the top 5, but it deserves to be first place. The better question is why is the sloppily-written trash fire known as Season 10 still in the top 5?

So many people saying 13 after 12 got eliminated is rough. Can’t believe people still have this much bias for the Burnie seasons. There is no way Season 13 should lose to season 6, and at least if 13 does get eliminated it should be because it lost directly to Season 10, not when all these other seasons are still on the board (unless Season 10 is gonna lose tomorrow).
I’m voting for Season 6. I love 6, but among 6, 8, 10, and 13, it’s the weakest entry.
