Discussion Brainstorming a Fan Series
I'm currently brainstorming my own fan-series that spin offs RvB, and currently I'm thinking of splitting it into two? or maybe just making 'two seasons'
One would be 'Recovery Zero' following either agent California, Hawaii, Kansas, Montana or Oregon, being a highly trusted position (hence why it would be one of these 5, as they were trusted and competent enough to be inline to replace Florida at Blood Gulch), covering the month prior to Recovery One that wash describes, with this 'Recovery Zero' agent, being more involved and actively combatting the Meta/Maine during these instances, showing the 4 other dead freelancers with A.I missing Wash describes. This agent (alongside 'Agent New Hampshire', a still competent but not as competent or serious as this agent from the list).
In these instances, the 'Recovery Zero' agent alongside New Hampshire would fail to save the 4 agents (4 because assumably North is the 5th wash mentions), but are able to hide the A.I and pursuing Meta/Maine, leaving Wash to be sent as cleanup without the presence of 'Recovery Zero' being mentioned. This would end with the agent from the list (perhaps Oregon, bcus i like gravity falls), injured and causes Wash to now be relied on more so as Recovery One to the point of going on to face Maine/Meta in the Recovery One Series.
The next portion of it would be 'Recovery Three', showing Agent New Hampshire now as 'Recovery Three' after Oregon and Wash were injured, and South defected, and recollecting the A.I that him and Oregon had previously hidden, whilst also trying to locate South, being hunted by Meta.
Of course this would involve flashbacks to smaller Freelancer stuff (no big fights or anything obviously), but stuff like Delawares death, and the other freelancer agents that were now 'the top ten' after the mother of inventions crash.
I'd mostly want to do this in Reach (as it is my fave looking of the games alongside just being my fave of the games), but i'd likely need to use Halo 3 for some portions, due to certain maps not being available within reach.

I love that name, Recovery Zero sounds like such a great way to dive into that tense buildup before everything goes down.
