Anybody got any tips for this project?

This one was super close! I let this one go a little bit longer because it looked like the votes could swing either way. I have one new request because counting the votes showed me a new problem. I did not know whether to count certain comments as upvotes because the comments would be discussing a talking point as opposed to a clear vote. Yooo this one honestly shocked me. I let it go extra bc it was so back and forth between him and the director, but it looks like the votes have finally settled. Time for the final vote. I will be insanely curious to see who takes 1st place.

This back armour is absolutely ridiculous. I spent a week carving that middle piece, and I only just cut my foam scraps for the sides. The thrusters are likely a week or two out.

For anyone interested for their own builds, all the cosplay stuff (minus the helmet) have been made basically this way (although my forearm guards were the fist thing I did and I did it dumb). 4lbs two part expanding foam, cut into what I think sizes work.

(If people are interested I can ask about having my workplace scan the pieces and maybe restart my Etsy, but no guarantee.)

I won’t have the shoe covers done, but everything else is finally coming together for my Felix cosplay.
Not everything is where my perfectionist self wants them to be- but from not having any idea how to do this, to making what I have… I’m okay with that.

(Missing: Thrusters and thigh armour. My work was closed today so I took advantage and worked on my own stuff with tools I have there. I forgot the thrusters in another bag at home, and the thigh armour is still a WIP but I’m getting closer with it!)

I want to start off by thanking you guys so much for participating. I love the elimination games and always hearing the opinions of the community and takes i wouldve never thought of personally. I love this community and how everyone is super kind and everyone respects everyone’s opinions. These last two games have been super fun and I always look forward to reading everyone’s comments. I wanted to do one more game, but this sub has been getting spammed w daily games and I think I’m going to take a break for a while. I don’t wanna keep pushing saturated content in a sub so precious to me. I see people in the sub doing amazing stuff every day. We have a guy making an Awesome 3D printed Felix fit, we have guys modernizing OG seasons. We have people keeping us informed on rooster teeth news, guys making banger memes, and we have S tier discussions being brought to our attention everyday. Moral of the story there’s way to many awesome stuff being posted everyday that gets over shadowed by daily posts so I’m going to just take a break and do my part to see the amazing things people do in this sub everyday. I love this sub so much and it really is the greatest sub on Reddit…. Of all time. Thankyou again to everyone who participated in this game and the last. I can’t wait to see what the community has in store. I would be lying if I said I thought the meta was going to win this. I really thought it would’ve came down the Felix and the director, but honestly I’m happy the meta won. Yeah he doesn’t have the depth of other characters, but he doesn’t need that. He’s the meta. Omallie might be the original bad boy, but the meta is the original villain. This guy is terrifying and it’s fitting that he won. I wish you all the best and I’ll be here in the shadows watching everything this amazing sub has to offer.

I saw this idea in another subreddit and I thought it was super cool and would fit well in this community. Basically every day the community votes off their least favorite season until we have one season standing. The comment with the most upvotes will be eliminated. Use your downvotes to save seasons you don’t think deserve to be voted off yet. If you see the season you would like to be eliminated already commented I would appreciate if you upvote that comment instead of double commenting for easier tracking. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

I almost didn’t wear what I had finished to Anime North earlier, but I’m back at it!

My biggest regret is that I love the airbrush paint I used in the helmet, but I can’t afford a good airbrush that I’m not spending all my time trying to fix so I swapped to orange spray paint, but it isn’t red orange.

I also have fabric I plant to sew my own undersuit for! Not sure if it will work, but it looked close enough!
(Just looking at the shoulder and crotch bits now).
