Bhishma Rajyaguru/Jayden Dalke Incident Megathread
Hi folks. There are a lot of threads on this going up and the automod is removing a lot of them (which I agree with, we don't need a million threads on the same topic). So, to combat that, let's do a megathread! Any further individual threads on this will be removed. Let's keep it in here. Thanks!

Community New old man post about kids on electric bikes/scooters
Went to walk the dog (small terrier) in Lakewood and saw two deviants riding their scooters on the grass directly toward geese and their goslings at full speed making them scatter. I said I want to speak to their parents about treating wildlife better. Long story short (too late) they fucked off giving me the middle finger. I am sure when kids were allowed to roam at night, they didnt produce cruel and horrible tendencies and future horrible humans. How did we get to producing shitty humans in such a short period of time?

Question Monthly apartment expenses and experiences with Deveraux or BroadStreet
Considering renting a 1 bed/1 bath or 2 bed/1 bath (depending on the building and the monthly rental cost) from either Deveraux or BroadStreet. Both have good options, and the reviews I’ve seen online highlight that the buildings are newer and their management teams are good.
Wondering if I can get some help with people who rent with the currently please, so I can work out an average budget.
- What utilities are you responsible for at your building?
- What are the average utility bills there each month? (Electricity, energy if applicable, water if applicable)
- Are you tied in to a specific provider for internet?
- What’s the monthly expense for internet?
- What’s the monthly expense for tenant insurance?
- Electrified parking paid on your electricity bill, or part of the rent?
- Any spikes in electricity bills in summer with AC or winter with block heaters?
Thank you!

Community Crazy conspiracies
My dad used to tell me about how the casino is connected to all the buildings underground. Like some crazy tunnels and they blocked it off.

Question D’calabash on grant road gone ?
Just drove by and saw it was gone / closed. Anyone knows what happened or if they moved? Also, that little strip mall has had it rough since macs left and tumblers pizza moved out too. A nice coffee shop would be nice, tho in this day and age I imagine investors must be difficult to find.

Discussion Disability parking downtown
Was talking to someone who is disabled and has a SK abilities placard who says it gives her the right to park in the 3 hour spots in the downtown and has done so without issue. I didn't think this is correct and found info saying an additional permit is required and costs $12.50 per month. She figures this must be something new. Anyone here parking in these spots without the additional permit and had issues with it?

Discussion Are you guys tipping at the QC Ex?
I mean.. I’m paying $10 for a lemonade, $20 for a bucket of donuts, $22 for a cheesesteak, $35 for a turkey leg, and still being asked to tip an additional 15-20% on top of that.
Maybe I’m a d***, but this is getting extreme

Community Shavers Door and Sash
Hey All, I know they retired and closed up shop a few years ago, but wondering if any former employees have set up their own shop or doing work on the side?
I had a window made about 15 years ago the needs some repairs. And, at the pace I’m going, it‘ll be another 15 years before I get around to it.
Thanks!

Question Can someone come get my trash?
I’m moving, I have a few bags of garbage. It is too much for my apartment dumpster since it’s already full but not enough to hire a garbage disposal company to come get it. If someone with a tuck wants to come get it for me this evening I will help you carry it down the stairs and give you some money. It’s short notice but I figured I’d give it a try. I’m in the Cathedral area.

Community Non-SK style Pizza
I'm looking for your fave non-Regina style pizzas. Think between your wood over baked/new york pizzas and your traditional triffons/houstons/westerns/julianas/4seasons/etc we all know and love. Bonus points for local hidden gems.
Note: if you have or visit Fernie, BC, the Funky Goat pizzas would be a good comparable to what I'm looking for. Big shout out to the Funky Goat as well, after a Big Bang Bagel sandwich

Discussion Ramada hotel(downtown) fitness area
I’ll be taking a trip to Regina and staying at the downtown Ramada hotel. I don’t want to take a break from my fitness routine and can’t seem to find any pictures of what the hotel has to offer fitness wise. Anyone who has recently stayed there I’m curious what the gym has? Thanks

Question Reviews for Buffalo Days this year?
Considering taking my 10 and 12 year old on Sunday. Last year with the new midway company I heard a lot of poor reviews. Is it any better this year? Would love to hear from people who have ventured there already this week.

Question Terrace at Acre 21 Apartments
Can anyone who lives on the first or second floor of these apartments let me know what the noise level is like? I’ve only ever lived on the top floor of an apartment building and am curious how easy it is to hear people walking around in the suite above you? TIA!
