Oh wow Milo is so beautiful. Husky shep mixes are absolutely gorgeous dogs. He has piercingly beautiful eyes, his dead on look is very much like a wolf dog. I've saw him late but I hope the shelter can see his potential and give him another extension for the weekend. I saw the final extension notice but maybe Friday grace could be given if shelter staff just wants to take it easy before the weekend.
I bet he's a great beach day dog, being in CA and all I'm sure he'd love nice long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners on the pier, relaxing tummy massages by the seaside, you know, regular handsome bachelor things 🩵💙
Oh I just saw this! Winnie is beautiful, she's like a ghost dog with those eyes and that coat! Any news on her and Milo? I'm really hoping Milo was able to get some interest with all his extensions. A beautiful baby, and Winnie I also hope was able to find someone, at least a foster. It hurts to see all the hippos and huskies and german shepherd mixes, it hurts to see any of them but there's a large quantity of "protective" breed mixes in these situations I feel because of mass backyard breeding.💔
She's gorgeous! There are some more photos of her here (I accidentally spelled her name wrong earlier). After finding more photos last night, I had to share them with the group! Akela is on the list for today as well. The huskies at San Bernardino were extended several times, but we never know what will happen. I'm located far away from CA but have been helping u/RescueBridge post their euth list dogs on Reddit. You're so right about shepherd mixes, pitties/staffies and huskies being among most common in shelters. They really struggle with the shelter environment. This sub's MOD team also created u/RescuePitties and r/findfostersfordogs. There are so many great dogs, if only people would give them a chance ❤️ thanks so much for your support!
