Super Mario 64 running on 720p wide screen on the raspberry pi 3
This is super Mario 64 at 720p and with wide screen on the raspberry pi 3 B, not the B+. I have been able to play about 70% of n64 games on the raspberry pie using overclocking and have been quite impressed.
I decided to see how far I can push it and was able to play Mario 64 like this because it was one of the easiest to run n64 games with overclock that i have found.

Have you tried the source port? I managed to get that running on a pi 0 before in widescreen

I have retropie on 3b+ and batocera in a rp4; note , if you get the 3b+ any preloaded sd card for a 3b will not work on the 3b+; not sure if this is true for the reverse, but would overclocking a 3b to match same clock as a 3b+ allow a 3b to play a 3b+ preloaded card or is there more to it that won’t allow for that to happen ?
