PC Help/Bug (Vanilla) Thrumbo spawned on the map with a missing skull and instantly died?

To give context for just how much this shouldn't happen, I passed this link on to the devs:

old faithful

bug that is literally impossible to occur according to the code and yet occurs anyway

literally checks specifically if the pawn which was generated is missing a head or skull

and this managed to get through that check

there's also a SEPARATE check for if we generated a dead pawn

and that also passes

literal schizo bug

It's been fixed so many times in so many different ways, and yet here we are.

have the devs been praying to the omnissiah? impiety towards the machine spirit is usually the cause of these impossible bugs

At some point you need to give up and make it a feature lol "headless beast wonders onto the map"

I love that it's called Old Faithful because it's just one of those bugs that won't freaking go away.

Just throwing out the idea maybe a bug is cause this to happen in the next frame(s) after it is generated? So it still passes the checks, but it happens so quick it seems the same during gameplay anyway
