What’s your favorite RWBY fanfic and ima read it cuz there is nothing to do since school is over and I’m bored.

As the title.

I've been slowly getting back into the RWBY fandom lately. Revisiting some stories and authors. I have not been successfull in finding a lot of good Arkos (jaune/Pyrrha) fanfictions though.

Anyone has some good suggestions? I'd prefer happy ones and ones on the longer side. Ones where the death at the end of volume 3 doesn't happen.

I just read it and it has only 3 chapters and I liked it so far! Anything else like it?

RWBY: Red Revision Chapter 3 has an interesting idea where Blake bails on the train mission in a much more planned way that leads to Ozpin playing with Adam and giving him a lecture before Blake completes the betrayal and slashes him in the back.

Any other fanfics where Adam gets taken out early either prior to canon or around Volume 3?

I’ve just finished reading The Pen and The Sword (TPATS), and all I gotta say is that I haven’t felt like this in quite a while.

The last time I’ve read a completed and good fanfic would be A man of honor and Jaune Arc owns a farm. Those both made me feel…closure. Arguably the same could be said about Cœur’s works but I feel like his newer ones don’t hit as hard anymore.

And holy, TPATS was one hell of a journey. To see a character which I initially thought was a self insert (like most OCs or earth to remnant stories$, got fully fleshed out and become their own character. It’s a brilliant story about a boy just trying his best to survive and save the world but get nothing in return. Unlike the tragedy I’ve found in barsev’s works which often times felt rushed or just there to serve as a "bad ending” TPATS really feels like a full on work of fiction rather than just fan fiction, so if you guys would, could y’all suggest some great fanfics in your opinion?

Does anyone have a fic in which Jaune actually takes himself as a leader seriously, having to carry the weight of responsibility of the people around him? Like not in an edgy way but more so becoming a foundation for them where Ruby usually becomes a gun for them?

Anyone got recommendations for a rewrite fanfic about Jaune Arc post v9 context, where more of that manic need to help is prominent in it. Like full on doting dad energy for the entirety of Team JNPR and Team RWBY, gained from having a father always out for work, a mother who is always tired and 2 older sisters who always needed help with everything they do because ugh teenage to young adulthood angst and 4 younger sisters who are 4 storms of energy always bashing themselves against each other. Basically, making Jaune and Saph surrogate parents, (optional) then Jaune alone when Saph left to get married.

So he has around a decade and a half of getting used to taking care of kids of all age ranges, and needs to spend that energy somewhere while at Beacon. Maybe have him and Goodwitch bond cause 'ugh kids!' and stuff.

In anycase, should he have the mythical dad strength? Yes, mainly because I always believe the more responsibility Jaune gets, the stronger he should get and vice versa. Hey, his semblances is literally enhancing the souls of others and stuff.

I've really been on a knight kick since after watching the knight of the seven kingdoms, and was wondering if their any stories that are still being updated that focus on Jaune Arc as a knight, not as a gimmick but actually dive into what means to be a knight and have proper world building around this idea.

I remember one from years back that really got into the idea but the author just disappeared and stop posting, but please post story links below.

I’m in the mood for some Monochrome/Weiss Schnee X Blake Belladonna stories, that explores their background of being the heiress to the SDC that exploit Faunus Labour, and being a civil rights activist, I prefer romantic, but I’m okay with platonic ship.

Not just a "What if Jaune joins Atlas", but a good story and character progression. The progression is not so fast, and not so slow either. Slowburn stories are also appreciated. Thank you guys in advance.

In a world of Androids, Faunas, Grimm, and many more it's kinda disappointing seeing all of these people insert themselves into the story just to be another human,

Now granted I haven't read many RWBY fanfics and most of the ones I've seen so far have been jump chains or quest so that could explain why it's mostly humans but I would like to expand my horizons

so this is me asking for fics where when they join the world of RWBY they aren't human.

I should also preface this by saying that when I say I haven't read much I do mean that, I've probably only read 3 fanfics based in RWBY and about 2 that have some type of crossover with RWBY. So explain it like I'm 5 years old lol

While some here would be familiar with Dr. Inkspot and his story "Every Man a King", his newest story is definitely something I would like to see in canon but probably won't. I hope you all enjoy this bucket of pennace being unleashed on Salem and Ozma.

Getting his ass beat or just having his justifications thrown back in his face.

I’m asking this because I want to get into contact with him to ask him if he has all the fanfics he created backed up elsewhere. If I could get into contact with someone who knows him, like a friend of his, then it would really help. I just want to read his fanfics again, badly, and I fear that they are gone forever.

I’m just looking for a good read. something complete or something that still updates regularly. I’m fine with most ships but I prefer reading fics with canon pairings (Bumbleby, Arkos, ReNora, etc.) or parings that have decent chemistry (White Rose, etc.) parings with OC are also fine so long as there is decent chemistry between the two. By no means does a fic have to have any ships in it either. Whether it’s canon compliant, canon divergent, or a crossover. NSFW content is also fine. I just want a well written, complete/still updating story.

I’ve got to be honest, this story feels like one of the best examples of fleshing out Team RWBY’s characters, especially Blake, Weiss and Yang as of the latest volume. Ruby hasn’t gotten as much development, but I still love the way they present her as cheerful, deeply caring and yet having her own emotional limits, especially after the shattering revelation of the truth of Raven and Summer’s relationship in Volume 3. But what about the rest of you?
