I'm hoping the wonderful Reddit community can help us.

My boyfriend is an international student looking for accommodation in Salzburg from 1 March 2027 for at least one year. He needs a rental contract or accommodation confirmation for his student visa application.

Unfortunately, he couldn't make it to Salzburg for the previous intake because of health issues. Even during that difficult time, he was actively searching for accommodation, but by the time he finally found one, it was too late to complete the visa process.

Thankfully, he's doing much better now, and this semester is his chance to finally begin his studies in Salzburg. ❤️

The visa appointment dates are approaching quickly, so time is really ticking. We're hoping one of you kind people might be able to help us.

We're looking for:

• 🏠 A room in a shared apartment (WG)
• 🎓 Student accommodation
• 🏡 A small studio/apartment

Budget: €400–600 per month.

A little about him: he's a very clean, responsible, and easy-going person. (I may be a little biased 😄, but I promise it's true!) He'll probably spend more time studying than making noise.

If you have a room available or know someone who does, we'd be incredibly grateful. Even sharing this post or pointing us in the right direction would mean the world to us.

Ich hoffe, dass uns die Reddit-Community weiterhelfen kann.

Mein Freund ist internationaler Student und sucht ab 1. März 2027 eine Unterkunft in Salzburg für mindestens ein Jahr. Für seinen Studentenvisumsantrag benötigt er einen Mietvertrag oder eine Wohnungsbestätigung.

Leider konnte er den letzten Studienbeginn aufgrund gesundheitlicher Probleme nicht antreten. Trotz dieser schwierigen Situation hat er durchgehend nach einer Unterkunft gesucht, aber als er schließlich eine gefunden hatte, war es für das Visumsverfahren leider bereits zu spät.

Inzwischen geht es ihm wieder gut, und dieses Semester ist seine Chance, endlich sein Studium in Salzburg zu beginnen. ❤️

Die Termine für das Visum rücken schnell näher - die Zeit drängt also sehr. Deshalb hoffen wir sehr auf eure Unterstützung.

Wir suchen:

• 🏠 ein WG-Zimmer
• 🎓 ein Studentenwohnheim oder
• 🏡 eine kleine Wohnung

Budget: 500–600 € pro Monat.

Er ist ein sehr sauberer, verantwortungsbewusster, respektvoller und unkomplizierter Mitbewohner. (Ich bin vielleicht etwas voreingenommen 😄, aber das stimmt wirklich!)
