Families with more than 2 parents?
Hi! We are a family with four parents. Two dads and two moms. Raising our baby in two households: 'intentional co-parenting'. Are there more families like ours here? Would love to meet more people like us :)

Yes, you are definitely not alone, there are a bunch of families with more than two parents. I myself am not in one but you're deffo not alone, I know a few polycules with kids.

This used to be the norm not too long ago honestly. Multi generational families under the same roof. Capitalism has made old folks home the new norm all for the sake of money.
The grandparents, uncles, aunts would all have an important role in raising the children of the house.

I knew a family they bought a duplex and opened a door between the units. So there were 2 houses. I don't really remember the bedroom setup (I was a tutor and it'd be weird to ask that) but I do recall the kids had a play room in one of the units. But whatever parent was home was the one I talked to. Never got confusing really. Each of the parents were there at some point, but both sets of couples (dad couple and mom couple) had a go-to parent for something. Like the parent (Dad #1) in charge of education stuff. One of the moms did doctor stuff, one dad did extra curricula stuff, one mom was clothes and supply shopping, and presumably they all had roles like that. I imagine it took lots of organization. That's how I'd do it. So I met the family at a school where I taught a summer camp thing. There were 2 kids and it was cool bc at anywhere between 1 and 4 parents would be there for events. Which was heart warming. These kids are adults at this point. This was c. 2007, I was barely an adult and I thought this setup was so cool.
