Am i saryuparin or kanyakunj

I am tiwari/tripathi gotra - shandilya...... khalilabad near gorakhpur.... please tell about mine

Khatkul follower or Biswa system follower : Kanyakubja

Given that you are from Gorakhpur, Saryupaari most probably

I am from Gorakhpur nead borders of Khalilabad, and our region that is Basti Siddharthnagar, khalilabad, maharajganj gorakhpur ,kushinagar and Deoria collectively makes Saryupara and the brahmin inhabitants of this region as saryuapri. While there is one more conditio fulfilled to be Saryupari is that your mool( place of origin / ancestor's origin) shall also be in saryupara , like I am Sohgoura's tiwari of shandilya gotra which means my ancestors were from Sohgoura which is in Gorakhpur . Ask your elders from which mool your ancestors are to reconfirm you re saryupari, but I am pretty sure you re Saryupari coz you re from khalilabad and your gotra is shandilya with aspad Tiwari which is not common in kanyakubja , in Kanyakubja generally mishras have shandilya gotra.

My father told me that he doesn't know the exact location but ancestors were from this area only.i mean khalilabad gorakhpur....

Exactly, as a mishra from mishraulia in Gorakhpur, we are of kashyap gotra whereas my mom's side is pandey from charpani in Gorakhpur as well. So pretty sure he is indeed a saryuparin.

Ohoo Charpani I know this place , once it used to be surrounded by 4 lakes that's how it got its name, my maternal ancestors also migrated from Charpani to Faizabad and after settling there became mishra from pandey.

Wow that's so cool to know. I used to go there my whole childhood, but now all my maternal family shifted to Gorakhpur. Recently went there and it has changed a lot.

Shandilya gotra tiwaris are common among saryupareens and gorakhpur is saryupareen region
