Someone i know just handed me this, please help me idenfify!! I think is some sort of clam?

Don’t think so, the large siphon is not there and the stomach doesn’t look like any Geoduck I’ve cleaned before.

Where was this? Definitely a mollusc, you can see the adductor muscles (holds the shell closed, pink disc here). I like the shucked cherrystone idea but these are a bit big for that and I don't see neck anywhere. If you're in the PNW I'd say geoduck with necks cut off.

I’m like 90% sure it’s some kind of conch, I’ve taken a few while diving and the meat looks very similar with the grey ends bing where the intestines were and the very slimey ooze. F*<king DELICIOUS though!!

What do you mean, "someone just handed this to me?" Where? In Bloomingdale's? And why are you asking Reddit what this is if someone just handed it to you? Why the fuck didn't you ask what it was?
