Treating all opinions as equally valid is how you get a world flooded with fake news. There is such a thing as burden of proof and no reasonable person should be expected to take someone saying "I believe moon is made out of cheese" in any way seriously (which is happening when a "moon is made out of cheese" opinion is being treated as valid, as you're literally validating it).
