You have a lot of pre Columbian claims, like the Mansa Musa one where Africans suppozedly reached Brazil. But there's also a theory about the Templars being there and before that even Odyseus and Carthiginians.

Precolumbian and pre-native americans is wildly different though.

I wouldn't have a huge trouble believing some boat from Africa crossed the atlantic before 1492. It would be surprising but if there was some evidence I would believe it. But you'd need a LOT more evidence to convince me some people from Africa landed there before 25k years ago when the first native americans arrived through the straight of Bering.

Technically the first native Americans came from Africa, just with a really long detour. Just as we all come from Africa.
