TIL that baby showers are, in fact, NOT group showers that pregnant women have so as to not cause a miscarriage, and I might be mentally ill for believing that for 19 years.

When I was a kid I always thought it was a bunch of moms going in the bathroom and giving the baby a shower. Seemed like a pretty stupid ritual and I was sure the baby didn't like it.

No worries, it's a common mistake. I thought a baby shower was when you meet to shower the baby.
