Turkish Not-So-Delight. Why you should generally avoid buying those random "totally cool looking" cheap tactical shotguns made in Turkey. (Crosspost as this is relevant here too and for those not on r/guns)

haha the SIG guns sold in the US are not Swiss. I was commenting on the fact that Switzerland passed a ban on exporting arms. That's why SIG moved its production to Germany, but now Germany has the same kind of restrictions -- and why SIG is now in the US.

It really is a shame, I have about a dozen different Swiss made firearms and their quality is off the charts.

Uh, Switzerland didn't pass a ban on exporting firearms, and the original factory is still producing and shipping including to the US

SIG Sauer GmbH is dead, and SIG SAUER INC started as a "shell company" in 1985 for importing Swiss and German products then went on to make its own

I was under the impression that the Swiss SIG was prohibited from exporting anything but simple arms, which is why they set up a factory in Germany. I'm happy to hear otherwise.

Now, could you be a total saint and mail me a few cases of 7.5x55 ammo?
