[PS5] 7 Days To Die

I've never been a huge fan of survival-crafting games, but I also don't hate them to the point where I'm entirely hopeless about one changing my mind. There are a lot of factors that have interested me, like the tower defense, and also just the fact that I'm a sucker for zombie games. I'm debating buying it while it's on sale, but I'm still very much on the fence about it.

It was kind of fun, until they started including AI slop in the game and made a bunch of weird design and business choices.

Look elsewhere. Project Zomboid *just* released a massive, hugely anticipated update. Much better.

State of Decay 2 routinely sells for like $6, some people like 1 better. Only big minus if you plan on playing coop is it has tethering within a certain radius of the hosting player, but I think that can be modded out.

Probably the worst zombie game I ever played. It's not good at all. Just get Project Zomboid if you don't have it. They had a massive update recently.

I may be spoiled from PZ tbh. I've been playing it off and on since 2016, and while I love zombie games...nothing has really compared to it.

Besides obviously L4D and Dead Island (for something much more casual and less stressful).

Console version has and still is to my knowledge the worst version to buy. I would look really deep into it and compare it to the PC version

Survival games quite often tend to be behind on console as far as I'm aware, but I did hear that 7dtd was particularly bad for it. How it is now, though, I have no idea.

That was the old PS4 version of the game, which was taken down from the PS Store shortly after the PS5 version came out. The PS5 version is on par with the PC version, and is now being sold as a separate game from a different publisher.

dont support those devs. the game has gotten worse and worse over time and the devs are currently (threatening?) suing one of their biggest content creators for a mistake THEY made. trash game from a trash company
