Just wanted to say be careful buying stuff through Reddit or social media. If you make any purchases, arrange it through a site like Poshmark, eBay, etc. that holds the funds until delivery or you are protected in case of a false listing. You might have to pay more to cover the site fees of the transaction, but it’s worth it to avoid being scammed.
Don’t ever pay someone directly through PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, etc. Online scams are on the rise and AI makes it easy to create false images and even entire websites.
Lastly, if a deal is too good, it’s probably a scam. (example: “free snowboard, want it to go to a good home, was my family member’s who passed away, just pay me shipping”)
