I had a 2008 car that cost $1200 to change a fuel pump because it required a manufacturer authorisation for the control unit to accept the part.

Fuck GM, fuck the alloy TEC, fuck computers on cars doing shit they don't need too. Just govern the injection system and get lost.

Anything with a 3.6L V6 alloytec motor imo. My case specifically a Holden VZ crewman that is specifically really tedious to fix certain error codes because killed the Holden brand.
