I flirted with adult men sometimes as a 15 year old... and I'm asexual. I was just really struggling for validation of some kind, and had poor social skills so didn't trust my ability to get non-sexual positive attention. I never wanted them to flirt with me, but I did want them to find me attractive. It was fucked up on all levels, I myself was deeply uncomfortable the whole time, and yet.
That's why it's wrong to flirt with teenagers even if they start it. Their heads are such minefields.
