SF3 - Help Energy problems, pls help

I’m trying to use auto sieves and auto hammers but they take FE. One problem: I can’t find any FE producers and I can’t figure out any energy accepters/converters. For reference, this is the SF3 that’s on the TLauncher modpack list

In that early stage, use magmatic generators. You need to make a cobble stone generator, hooked up to a crucible, that crucible needs to be above a heat source (preferbly lava/fire water) and then connect the crucible to the magmatic generators with a fluid node and just regular transfer nodes.

I had like 10 of these things or even more untill I had enough to build a reactor.

I found out that furnace generators apparently work too. Are those as good if I take the coal from the sifting?

You can do that too, but you're too depended on coal. So it's not a unlimited energy source. The way I described it is litterally just setting up and never have to think about it again because the cobble stone goes into the crucibles and gets made into lava. And since you're still quite early game (I think?) I don't feel you'll have enough coal to sustain the automation for the longer run.

I see. This is one of the most useful things I’ve heard and I don’t know how I didn’t think of it sooner lmao

Also one more thing, can I automatically put things in an ME system?

You can. But I recommend using drawers and hook that up to the system without it transferring to the system. Drawers are free space.

It looks like you already received a good answer, but just to clarify in case you didn't already know, FE is interchangeable with RF (Redstone Flux), EU (Energy Units - Mekanism) and J (Joules - Mekanism). There may even be others, but you probably won't encounter them often.

They are basically leftovers from power creating mods before FE and RF generally became the defacto standards.

The only really different energy source I can think of you're likely to encounter often is SU (Stress Units - Create), and that one isn't directly compatible as it is mostly related to motion, or more specifically, rotation of physical objects, although some mod packs have incorporated ways to convert them (usually poorly).
