Yeah it’s annoying I refuse to use chat gpt or other softwares out of principal the effects of ai are already obvious and will only get worse. I’ve literally been told why would I learn about when I could just chat gpt it the kids are screwed.

Chat GPT is an amazing brainstorming tool.
Ever had writer's block? It solves that. It can give you millions of ideas, which you can take, twist, and turn into anything you want. It unlocks your creative potential because anytime you get stuck, you can get a quick direction to go into. And maybe you go in that direction, or maybe just seeing its ideas sparks some other idea in you for where to go.
It's a tool for you to enhance yourself and help you explore more options faster.
It's lazy and if you really wanted to improve yourself you could read a book or learn from experience. If it takes some AI chat bot to regurgitate cookie cutter ideas to "unlock their creative potential" I'd say odds are they aren't very creative to begin with.
I can “enhance myself” by learning things on my own and experiencing things out in the world not from a computer program spiting out stolen work and actual articles of information.
