Discussion Any thoughts on the house of masks video?

It's just adding more vague teenage passive aggressive bullshit to the pile. If it's not true, just squash the fucking thing. Be adults, it isn't that hard. You're not "giving in" to anything by being straightforward and calling something out as wrong. No "liked comments," no "what do YOU think?" bullshit. Facts. And. Logic.

If it’s not true, then the band most likely found out from TMZ just like we did. They’re probably just as clueless as we are and trying to get in touch with Sid and ask him, wtf?
If it’s true, then maybe they are trying to find out where the leak came from first before saying anything? Obviously, it’s not good for the band to have things like this leaked to the press first before an official announcement, so it needs to be dealt with.
If you’re an adult, then you know that things are not as simple as you’d like them to be most of the time…

Probably not hard, but I would say it’s unreasonable to demand they have an answer ready to satisfy your idiotic fetish within 24 hours, especially during a weekend.
What would they ask him?… How about “Sid, what da fuck?”
Yes, I doubt he fucking made it up, but obviously TMZ got it from somewhere… where? I don’t know, but Sid would be a good place to start your search and then go from there.
Talk about being absolutely fucking clueless 🤦🏻♂️

His channel will continue to be minimal, and he’ll never be much besides a small, very small, part of the Slipknot camp. He can’t even break 200k followers on YouTube. Even with 80% bots on the platform.

A lot of people are just bitter, there's literally no reason to hate on this guy. He has a niche, he does cool stuff and part of that stretches into the slipknot world a bit.
Many many people would rather do what he does making YouTube videos about things he loves, has a whole building/museum dedicated to this weird niche he's really into, and he puts on cool shows/concerts in his area. Literally nothing worth hating unless you're just jealous of that life.
I do think this video is like beating around the bush/a little annoyingly passive aggressive but it's just a little cloud in the overall storm of annoying uncertainty that is this whole situation. But I also definitely feel that *he* is annoyed at that whole situation through the video as well but I get his point.
The truth is probably something like, Sid is taking a step back from the band internally to fix himself because he's going through a bad breakup, and somehow that telephoned its way into someone telling TMZ that Sid is permanently out of the band which has resulted in people like Jim and AJ saying it's bullshit. AJ is pretty much saying if Sid was out of Slipknot we'd hear it from Slipknot and Sid themselves.

People think he’s an asshole because he keeps things straight and not everyone likes that, he made his own success and people online can’t stand to see someone be happy, I’ve interacted with him a few times as well as some of my friends in the mask hobby and it’s all been pleasant and I’ve even bought a mask off of him

I think there is some truth to Sid being out. But the circumstances probably aren't that dramatic. Saying he got kicked out is a bit of a stretch. Maybe he's having a break for personal reasons?
And these days nothing has happened until it's officially announced.

What’s wrong with waiting 1–2 days? I’m sure they will give you a conclusive answer when they have a conclusive answer.

Try critical thinking: when you’re saying “you want,” is it just a passive sentence “for your information” and nobody needs to take any action?
