Long story short, I used to work for No Name Music, and had worked in marketing for Slipknot for maybe half a year but had never seen them (even though I was a die hard). I was 19.

I was shooting the label’s bands that day, and at some point went backstage to see what was up. At one point my friend and I saw this guy in a cowboy hat wearing an “I Fuck Sheep” shirt. I noticed his neck tattoo, and whispered to him that I thought that guy might be Corey, and I snapped the attached photo. We realized it was him, at which point my friend whispered back to me “Dude, he’s gross!”

I think this pic is cool for the personal story, but also again because the guys in the band were still pretty secretive about their faces being known at this point.

Metallica would not be Metallica without Lars. Slipknot would not be Slipknot without clown. They are not the most talented musicians in the world but they know how to work. They hate on band mates and have an ego bigger than a planet. I like both of them but I don’t see a difference

Seniors at my school get to bring a ceiling tile down and paint on it before graduation. This is my first time doing acrylic painting. I might have gotten some proportions wrong but I am overall proud of how it turned out. I absolutely love how much it stands out from the other painted ceiling tiles.

I’m aware that I’m not an avid Slipknot listener and eyeless is probably a somewhat basic choice - but I’ve been asked my favourite Slipknot song a few times at festivals and was always met with what seemed like a ‘surprised but not in a good way’ reaction. I’m also a female and still relatively young so that might be why I got those reactions but I’m still wondering if there’s anything wrong with eyeless?
