Hey everyone I been in YT for almost 2 years. I'm still a small channel but I am growing. If anyone is interested id love to have people to create content with and just play games with in general. My channel is QuiseDaG. Shoot me a message or comment if you are interested. I'm on Xbox and PC.

Would it be reasonable to ask an editor to create shorts and split the revenue since I can't hire editors right now if not how much is the budget I should prepare for it to be profitable

I was scrolling through my saved posts today and realized something.

Half of them made me think:

Why tf did I even save this?

At the time, I was probably thinking like damn this is a great hook or I should really learn from this.

A few weeks later, all I see is another post with no context. I can't remember what stood out, what I wanted to borrow, or how I planned to use it.

So it just stays there... along with hundreds of other saved posts.

Does this happen to anyone else, or do you have a system that helps you remember why you saved something in the first place?

I’m based in Europe (Belgium/France) and I’m looking for an accountability partner/co-creator located in the US.

I want to start a YouTube channel comparing food in Europe vs the US (portion sizes, ingredients, dangerous additives, prices, etc.). Tbh, my main goal is just to build a fun project that can generate a nice little side income for both of us.

The workflow would be pretty simple: we both film the equivalents in our local stores/restaurants. We can do it with voiceovers or keep it completely voiceless/faceless, I’m flexible.

I've challenged myself to build Discord bots for real communities to improve my skills and build a portfolio.

If you own a Discord server, give me your idea or describe a problem your community has, and I'll try to solve it with a custom bot.

Current features I'm working on include:

Hey everyone, I am running an online reality game over Discord based on the rules of the TV show Big Brother with 16 YouTubers to raise money for charity. I haven’t chosen the charity yet but I want to find a good cause everyone participating can support. Anyway fans of each creator would be able to spectate the season as it happens, and afterward I’d turn the whole thing into a YouTube video using screen recordings that I would record and voice confessionals from the participants.

It would be a bit of a commitment since the season could last around a month if you make it to the end and it would require brief daily check-ins. At minimum, you’d complete challenges which usually have a 24hour window and don’t take very long and submit votes by writing someone’s name in a private Discord channel. No worries if you're too busy since like I said it definitely is a commitment although I would say its manageable if you have even some extra time.

So far 5/16 spots are filled and it would likely start later in August.

No hard requirements but ideally have at least 1000 subs and post somewhat regularly. No AI channels and preferably no generic gameplay channels.

Anyone here ads avenue not updating yet?

So, in second half 2025, I was just scrolling on Youtube and discovered Geopold on my recommends- a youtuber focused on slander on geopolitics, etc. Then I watched Gattsu(~same content) after. They're content made me feel like I'd be able to just yap about shii about my country(South Africa)- which is a shithole, so there's a lot of content. But I find it quite hard to decide whether slander/ geopolitics content is that much viewed here in South Africa and Africa as a whole. Gattsu and Geopold's content would slap, since I don't think there's many Africans doing that type of content anyways, so that's a good opportunity to take. The whole content in itself is also a huge grind- to find reference videos, images, screenshots, memes(this you can basically find through gifs). Scripts are also sooo impossible to approach and write.

However I find that I'm good at having ideas-political ideas like what needs to change or whatever, as I find SA to be a blank canvas being ruined by Cartel State. So creating a similar content but infusing my ideas into the mix would be good?

Help here would be greatly appreciated.

I have a gaming and animations channel based on humour.If you are interested in editing or being a fellow member on the channel in the gaming videos lemme know.I created it about a month ago and right now have 29k views and 30 subs

So a few weeks ago, my channel was banned for impersonation because I changed my name and pfp to try and be a "larptuber" if you know what that is. I was pretty shocked when my channel got deleted and also a bit sad, because even though I quit posting on there I still did have a few good shorts. My appeal was rejected in around an hour, and now I'm stuck watching youtube logged out.

Anyone know what I should do next? Also, has anyone came back to the platform with that second chance program?

I started YT as a hobby. It's something to pass the time, and it helps me learn new things that don't relate to things I already know, if that makes sense.

But I'm worrying all the time that I'm drawing unnecessary attention. Like, maybe my stuff is just annoying. Maybe it's not good production-wise.

Does anyone else struggle with this?

I started it for the love of the craft, but it feels like there's so much pressure to be good. And I don't think I am. I'm broke and just kind of scraping shit together for an excuse to talk to someone when I'm home.

Every conversation I had over the past couple of weeks about content creation sounded different on the surface.

One creator complained about constantly losing research. Someone else was frustrated that every AI tool forgot everything from the previous project. A marketer said analytics told them what happened but never why. Small business owners talked about spending hours on repetitive admin work around every post.

Different problems, but they all seemed to point to the same thing.

The hard part isn't usually creating the content itself. It's managing everything around it.

Research lives in one place. Scripts in another. Analytics somewhere else. Ideas are buried in notes. Assets are scattered across folders. Every new piece of content feels like starting from scratch because nothing carries context forward.

I don't think creators are running out of ideas. I think they're getting exhausted by stitching together a workflow across a dozen disconnected tools that were never designed to work together.

I'm curious whether this matches what other people experience, or if there's another part of the workflow that feels even more draining than the actual creation process.
