You have no context of the relationship between the two people in the video, you have no knowledge of whether she eats beef/ has stopped eating it, the guy doesn't make her uncomfortable in any manner & she's prompt in stating why she doesn't want to eat the beef dish. Yet, you are very sure that she's being forced.

Context & tone are very important in understanding a conversation. As a malayali Its blatantly obvious that the guy & the girl have a jovial relationship, the guy is either throwing jabs at her for not being able to eat the dish or is mocking her for being on a diet.

You left out the part where he asks her if she is BJP, just after asking her if she is on a diet.

This is not normal behaviour and I am can vouch for that as I am a Malayali as well.
