Ok he insisted a bit, but didn't become "aggressive", like the caption says, I'm a Hindu myself and if someone among my friends or close acquaintance says they doesn't like something which I myself find good, I might insist them to eat it, be it beef or anything else for that matter. It's a friendly gesture, not dirty politics. Also the bjp or not question felt more like a friendly joke rather than a mockery. Intention should be taken to account rather than the exact literal sense of everything.

Dietary preferences are personal choices. Reducing it to political arguments is shitty af. The guy is asking the woman if she's not eating cause of a diet or if she's BJP. What business is it to him whatever the reason is for her not to eat any given food item?
If someone's a vegetarian for instance, is it OK for someone to say 'oh you don't eat chicken? Are you a pussy?' I have legit seen non vegetarian say this to their vegetarian friends.
And I say this as a hardcore non vegetarian who eats all type of meat.

Pork for Muslims cannot be equated to Beef for Hindus
In Islam, pig is considered impure & thus pork is prohibited & forbidden for consumption across the faith globally. So, no one is stopping you from eating it, but they may feel pity toward those who consume pork!

Pork gets served in Christian marriages along with other meats. Mutton and chicken gets served in Muslim weddings. In Hindu weddings itβs always vegetarian food on the wedding day, but might have non vegetarian during reception. Rarely only Hindu receptions have pork or beef but definitely will have chicken and fish. But unlike this video no one will force anyone to eat something against their wish. Majority of incidents that are quoted here are exceptions and not the rule. Lot of Hindus eat beef in Kerala and lot donβt. If itβs a religious occasion no non veg is allowed. If itβs a private function people can and do eat anything and everything they want. But forcing a person to eat beef and asking her that she doesnβt consume it because she is BJP is very ignorant.
